The wait is finally over: the long [w]overdue[/w] [w]sequel[/w] to the 2005 “Sin City” has been officially confirmed. “Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” will see Miller work again with Robert Rodriguez on what they promise will be an unprecedented, “ferocious” film experience. As fans of the original movie, which took filmmaking into a different dimension with its prevailing comic book feel, must know, a sequel has been subject to debate and high hopes for years. Until now, the latter never came to [w]fruition[/w]. Confirmation for “A Dame to Kill For” comes straight from the writers / directors, in a statement to Slash Film. Not only will it see Miller and Rodriguez in the same boat again, but it will also mark the return of some of the characters that appeared in the first film, while also taking that experience and making it bigger, better and overall more awesome. Casting begins next week, with production scheduled to kick off shortly after that. A release date has not been announced yet (not even an estimated one), but the terrible duo promise that the sequel would have been worth the long wait. “The first question I am always asked is 'When will you make another Sin City?'” Rodriguez says.
